Lino is such a great host! Always available when you need help. The room was very clean and nice decorated.

The apartment was in a residential area within walking distance of Ortigia and the archaeological park. Much nicer than staying in the tourist area as you get to know how the locals live. Great to have off street parking.

Comfortably and thoughtfully appointed. Excellent to have parking on site. Very attentive care from the owner who offered useful restaurant and café recommendations. The apartment is very close to the archaeological park

We knew it would be a walk into Ortigia.

Everything, the appartment is gorgeous and Lino was very responsive and super helpful. He helped us with great recommendations for restaurants and beaches to visit in the area.

The apartment is very beautiful and spacious. We were 4 adults and we managed perfectly fine. Lino the owner was very nice and kind, answered to every question we had. The apartment is in a quiet area but close to everything. Thank you Lino! Hope to come again on our next visit in sicily.

The was not such a thing

Lino was a brilliant host. We had issues getting into the property with self check in but within 5 mins Lino was there to help. He also left us a bottle of wine and fresh fruit which was a lovely touch. The apartment is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable.

It’s a good 20 min walk to the start of Ortiga island which wouldn’t have been a problem but it was extremely hot the few days we were there so walking was a struggle!

Beautifully renovated apartment with everything you need for a short stay. Coffee machine and cooking facilities. Free parking either in courtyard or surrounding streets. There is a great local panetteria in the street to buy home made food from if you prefer to eat in. Lino is a great host and catered to all our needs. This apartment is in a very local part of town and is about a 25 minute walk from the old town of Ortigia. Check out the incredible church around the corner from apartment “Madonna delle Lacrime”

First of all the apartment itself is very clean and kept in shape and up to date, everything in the apartment works, it is comfortable and has everything you would need to stay at. Don't be fooled by the location because it is actually tucked in very nicely in family oriented neighborhood, quiet, safe and very close to everything a person would like to see in Syracuse. Most importantly Lino was one of, if not the best hosts I had. He welcomed us upon check in, explained everything about the place, and then he gave us a list of things to do or go visit in the city or within the area. I have to mention that he felt bad that he didn't make a better plan for our stay because he didn't know we didn't have a car. I was bugging him all the time about different things, food, beaches etc. and he was always very kind and prompt to give us advice. Do not hesitate about this place, it's perfect!

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable 2 bedroom apartment within walking distance to the archaeological sites in Syracuse and about a 20 minute walk to the old town. Self check in/out. Excellent communications from the owner, who also provided suggestions for cafe/bakery/restaurants in the area and also in the old town. No problem getting free on street parking close to the apartment (there is a courtyard in the apartment block where you can park, but this was often full - we just parked on the streets surrounding the adjacent streets)

Nothing - an excellent place to stay, as long as you don't mind the walk to the old town (or are happy to bus or drive there)
