Historic house with many interesting features. Nicely located near the temples and major bus lines. The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

I found sleeping on futons and sitting on the floor difficult for my joints.

Everything was awesome. That was so pleasure to meet host and got everything what u needed.

La dame qui nous a accueillis était très gentille et répondait rapidement aux messages. C'était une super expérience de tester un logement traditionnel japonais. Les futons étaient très confortables, il y avait un sèche-linge pour sécher le linge et les petits-déjeuners étaient inclus.

It was an absolutely beautiful property that made me feel so at home in Kyoto. It’s spacious and well restored and the upper floor is very comfortable.

The living room doesn’t heat up as much as upstairs so it is a bit cold, but the kotatsu helps. The bathrooms and kitchen are also not very heated, but that’s to be expected.

It’s not clear whether some of the cushions and tatamis are clean.
