Monsieur Ono est adorable et très attentionné. Nous avons apprécié sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. La maison traditionnelle est magnifique et les futons très confortables. Le quartier est très calme et très facile d'accès.

Good location. 20 mins walk to Kiyomizu-dera temple. 13 mins walk from Kyoto station. Very cozy traditional Japanese house. The host is super sweet. They prepared fruits, breads, jam, yogurts, and water for us. They helped put our cloth inside when it rain and we wasn’t there. Even turn on the heater to help dry faster. Gave us a picture as souvenirs. The room is very comfortable. They have table mirrors, make it easy to get ready in the room without hogging the bathroom.

The toilet is a bit unclean. There looks like to be a brown stain that wasn’t properly wiped off the toilet seat.

This is the traditional Japanese style, excellent for experience Japanese cultures. The owner is so super nice and patient, extremely helpful! It’s located at a silent peaceful area, walking distance to some of the key tourist and shopping destinations. Although the house is 150 years old, the toilet is upgraded and quite comfy. The bathtub is different from western style and I was a bit uneasy the first time using it but then I feel the design makes more sense and enjoyed it.

Mr.Ono, the host of the Inn Vaeda, is very kind and his warm hospitality made our stay in Kyoto much more comfortable and enjoyable than our previous stay in ordinary hotels. The house is old traditional house, so there were some unconvenient points (suh as narrow toilet space, electric limitatione and etc) that may be out of your expectation, however, the warm atomosphare of Mr.Ono's charactor and old traditional house is much more enough to recover such small defects and forget them. In this time, I stayed with our old Vietnamese friends, and all of them are very happy. Thank you! I recomend to stay in this inn for the peoples who is strogly interested in the culture and atomosphare of the local people and get tired of the flawless but impersonal service.

L’accueil superbe de Monsieur Ono, le confort des futons, les petites attentions, l’authenticité des lieux… tout était superbe !

El alojamiento es pequeño y acogedor, con un precioso jardín interior de estilo japonés en el corazón de la casa. Aunque esté adaptado a los tiempos modernos, te sientes como en una casa japonés tradicional. Pero sin duda, la estrella del show es Ono-san, nuestro host fuera de serie. Bien para interesarse por nuestros planes, ayudarnos con ideas o dudas, o simplemente hablar con nosotros y compartir historias de nuestras vidas, nos sentimos arropados por su hospitalidad en todo momento. Por no mencionar todos los otros bonitos detalles que tuvo con nosotros todos los días, y que no esperábamos: traernos desayuno, arreglarnos los futones, etc. En un Kyoto cada vez más gentrificado, su bondad y humanidad hicieron de nuestra estancia algo mucho más memorable. ¡Gracias, Ono-san! Definitivamente volveremos, si el destino nos une de nuevo en Kyoto algún día.

Es una casa tradicional japonesa, así que no se pueden esperar todas las comodidades. No hay wifi, por ejemplo. A nosotros no nos afectó porque era lo que íbamos buscando, pero es algo a tener en cuenta antes de reservar.

On a adoré la maison, la gentillesse et des attentions des hôtes, le calme du quartier et très proche du quartier Gion. Bref c'est notre meilleur séjour dans tout le Japon.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de notre hôte, plein de petites attentions, très agréable, qui nous a conseillé dans nos visites. Sa maison est de type traditionnelle, vraiment jolie, très bien située, dans un quartier très calme et à proximité de sites et ruelles historiques.
