Sakara Gion

Great traditional apartment which was located right in Gion district close to restaurants and super markets.

Steep stairs may be a problem for some people

Quiet area in Gion. Very close to bus station and convenience stores. Nice house for a family. Can cook your own food in their kitchen which is also very good. Yuku is a great host. She even sent us the things we left to our Osaka hotel. Will definitely recommend this property.

Going up and down the steep stairs was not ideal but manageable.

Close to train/bus and supermarket. Yuko was fantastic at meeting us early to check in early and the providing us with options of where to go/what to do/see etc. really cute house, felt right at home and lots of space for the kids and us to have some space.

Everything! This house is beautiful! Plenty of space for our family of four across two bedrooms. The house is a traditional Kyoto family home and it just feels special staying there. Easy to walk into central Gion and Maruyama Park and has train stations, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The host Yuko is so friendly and very helpful. The restaurant she recommended was wonderful.

We loved Sakara Gion. A beautiful traditional house - the photos did not do it justice. The location was close to the action, yet very quiet. Comfortable beds and a great shower. Lovely, helpful host.

Beautiful house in a great location, comfy beds, fabulous shower, had everything we needed. Yuko was very helpful, would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto
