Excellent location, helpful host who met us at the property and gave us maps and advice about the area. Perfect for a family of 4. There is a kitchen with cooking pots, microwave, toaster but didn’t use it.

Very minor-More new pillows for the bed would have been nice. Exit light on 2nd floor was a bit bright at night.

Excellent host, excellent location, great low-key restaurants nearby. Mini-mart very close. Traditional home from the front with great facilities inside. Our hostess Yuko speaks excellent English and helped us with our travel plans to Kyoto, allowed early check-in, met us at the beginning to answer any questions, helped us orient ourselves on the map, and generally made our stay better. Yuko even made a reservation for us at a lovely traditional restaurant which was something we thoroughly enjoyed.

It was fabulous.
