The family was lovely and treated us well - making breakfast and dinner for us whilst taking a genuine interest in our lives. It was a beautiful home with a beautiful view.

It's a little tricky to get to but fine if you have a car!

Fantastisch, welcome home feeling

A one of a kind experience that we will keep as a sweet memory! Lovely, warm and hospitable family that makes you part of their home. The traditional house is so cozy and aesthetic, the food is amazing and the only problem is that we didn't stay longer! Would love to come here again sometime in the future.

The food was excellent and Yumiko was so kind to prepare a vegetarian meal for me on short notice, which I very much appreciated. It was such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, we enjoyed every bit of this authentic and rural japanese experience and would come back anytime. Thank you for having us!

The view, the food, the hosts…everything was so amazing. The whole experience was the highlight of our trip. You get to experience the simple mountain life and it was nice to enjoy the meal at the table with the hosts, chatting with them and getting to know their lifestyle.

Daisuke and Yumiko were exceptional hosts who made our stay truly memorable with their warm hospitality. We especially enjoyed chatting with them over dinner and breakfast—it felt both welcoming and genuine. Our 4-year-old daughter loved experiencing the traditional hot bath, which was a highlight for her. She loves to play with their cat too! Yumiko’s cooking was another standout: fresh ingredients, thoughtfully prepared, and wonderfully healthy. Overall, it was a delightful and enriching experience we won’t forget.
