"We had a very nice stay."

The house was clean and beautifully renovated/decorated. Daisuke San and Yumi San are the perfect hosts, they’re very friendly and knowledgeable about the region. Yumi San’s home cooked food was excellent and healthy. It was nice exposure to a Japanese family’s lifestyle in the country side.

It’s a shame that the bathroom and toilet are detached from the house.

Daisuke and Yumiko were wonderful hosts and the inn is a beautiful traditional Japanese house surrounded by incredible scenery. Yumiko's cooking is amazing, and she used a lot of locally sourced ingredients and taught us about them. We had a fantastic time here and wished we could have stayed longer.

The location, incredible hosts, exceptional and overall experience

We had no complaints and any comfort issues were really due to the fact that we were not used to sitting on the floor to have dinner. But that was part of the experience.

Tipical ryokan Accommodation in the Nature. Our host was really nice and amazing chef. The dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We have really nice stay and would come again.

The special chickens were like pets and they were outside of cage during the day, but the chickens for eggs were just in the cage. Please let all chickens out of cage during the day.

"Wonderful experience!"

A beautiful place. We loved the spectacular location. It is a historic traditional house. Very quiet and private. We felt very welcome by our hosts who sat with us for breakfast and dinner. They have good English and we.talked about many things. It was a joy to have an authentic Japanese family experience and staying at this guesthouse highlight of our trip. There is rafting just nearby. We will be recommending to our friends!
