Oyamanoyado Michitsuji

A beautiful place in the mountains! The house is a 100 years old original. This is a highlight an bring a special atmosphere. The Owner and his family was very friendly. The food was delicious!

The little Bathhouse and toilet is 10m outside the house. So in the night you meet the weather and the natur!

This place is divine in all aspects. The stunning views over the valley and river, the wonderful traditional house, the excellent cooking of the lady of the house (best we’ve eaten in Japan) but most of all the warm and very personable welcome the hosts gave us. This was a stay we will always remember and cherish. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommended!

This is an old house perched on top of a beautiful mountain with stunning views. The host family were welcoming and friendly sharing their lifestyle with us. breakfasts and dinner were prepared by Adachi to perfection. Traditional Japanese. it was perfect like five star restaurant cuisine. in such a short time we thought Adachi and Daisuke were our close friends. We would highly recommend this stay

nothing although the road to the top of the mountain is very steep if you had a large car.

The house is great, the house owner families are super friendly and helpful, the food was so so delicious `~~ Everything was perfect.

Amazing dinner and breakfast. Home cooked food at its finest. Love to visit again

large enough space for a family of 4, we had 1 bedroom, 1 lounge, 1 dining and a small play area for the kids to play in. breakfast and dinner served by the host was spectacular!

unfortunately the shower and bath facilities are in an outhouse so it’s not the easiest especially in the cold
