The house is huge! I would never put in as many people as is advertised, though. The kitchen has everything (unfortunately, the dishwasher doesn't work). The washing machine is excellent and there is a huge area off of one of the rooms where you can hang a lot of clothes even when it's raining. Upstairs, there are two doors. One of them leads to a room that has the tatami room attached to it. We had kids, and they absolutely loved the place. Overall, I will book there again.

The walk to the train station and the konbini is a good bit. We did not like that. The stairs are so incredibly narrow and steep that even we as adults, didn't like them. There is a baby gate at the top. The tatami room does not have AC. We left the door to the bedroom open, but it was never really cool enough during the August temperatures. There is a fan that helps a little. There is also a heater for the winter ,but I don't know how well it heats. There are only bright, stark overhead lights in the rooms and the kitchen. We ended up removing the kitchen doors (really simple) in order to bring in a bit of natural light through the front patio door, as there is no outside light in the kitchen whatsoever. I'd love to see them do that and make better use of the room in the front! It's quite a wasted space. Note that you have to seriously squeeze your legs when you're using either toilet, so if you have very long leg,s you may not want to book this place!
