Location was perfect.

Location, machia. Bathroom, tatami, beds, clean, easy entry.

Maybe a bit noisy as it is on a busy walk. But not so much to impact my stay. We enjoyed being close to the action. 😀

Fantastic location! Pontocho lane is a perfect location to access lots of parts of Kyoto. Easy to walk around for coffees and dinner, but also close to trains and buses. A perfect accomodations really clean, well set up. The bed was comfy and really big. Perfect for a couple (or a couple and a kid). The bath was fantastic too, this was a really nice feature of the property. The host was organised and really easy to communicate with. Check in and out was seamless.

・玄関のセキュリティーが良くない。 玄関前の誰でも取れる透明な箱の中に、名前入りで手紙が入っており、その中に玄関のパスワード等が書かれていた。 事前にセキュリティー的に怖いから、手紙は置かずにメッセージで暗証番号を送ってくださいと、電話で伝えたにも関わらず、手紙が置かれていた。 対応者がカタコトの日本語だったため、話が通じてなかったようです。 ・ドライヤーが壊れていた。 夜お風呂に入るときに気づき、宿主に電話したが繋がらなかった。 冬の滞在だったため、髪が乾かせず寒すぎて眠れなかった。 ひどく寝癖も付き、せっかくの旅行なのに気分が下がった。 何度もメッセージや電話で連絡したが、繋がらなかった。 ・周囲がうるさい 立地が良く、お店も多い通りなので、夜がうるさかった。 壁が薄いせいか、近くの家の扉の音や人の足音が鮮明に聞こえた。 玄関の簡易なセキュリティーにも不安を感じていたので、誰かが侵入したのかなと思い、何度も起きて1階を確認しに行った。 ・お風呂の桶や椅子、タオル干しにカビがいっぱい、部屋に埃がいっぱい。 カビが多く、咳が止まらなかった。 タオル干しも使えず、不便だった。 他にも、手紙に書かれていたwifiが使えなかったり、 冷凍庫が霜で使えなかったり、説明にはシングルベッド2台と書かれているのになかったり、ガッカリした点が多かった。 総評として、とにかく疲れていたのにゆっくり休めなかったです。

Man musste in der Unterkunft nochmals Kurtaxe zahlen, obwohl über Booking nicht so vorgesehen. Eher deshalb eine 9.5 und nicht ganz eine 10.
