Overall was good, property was clean, good location.

Some basic maintenance has been let go, in Master bedroom the wall paper is coming off at the joins, could be easily glued back down. In main lounge the curtains were hard to close, needs some maintenance.

Very good location close to all the facilities .

The bugs in the night make sure the close all the windows before sunset .

I loved the house, very homely. Could have happily moved in lol. Very nice people.

1 toilet which is in the 1 bathroom. OK if only 2 people but we were 3.

The property was advertised as a stand alone house. This was misleading as the cottage was divided into two, with only half the cottage being occupied by our group. The other half of the property was occupied by other guests. As a result there was no off street parking and the presence of other guests was not expected. The garden was also in need of attention. The hot water in the shower did not work properly with very low pressure if you wanted the shower to be hot. Pressure was okay if you wanted a cold shower.

Not entire home as advertised, very misleading and would NOT have booked knowing this!! The people next door parked behind our car so not able to leave when wanted. They were extremely noisy and we could hear everything and I mean everything till late and we had an early start so minimal sleep. The shower pressure terrible not able to wash my hair, microwave smelt like fish, cockroaches in the dining room, heater upstairs didn’t work, had to pay an extra $45 to bring dogs which was not specified before booking and paying and it was not cheap to stay here. Very disappointing stay 🥲

The view was spectacular and that’s absolutely it- find other accommodation around the lake and you will have an equally spectacular view without the nightmare of this property.

I have never left an unflattering review before but this property was a joke, start to finish. The property is not at all as it’s listed. It’s not a “whole house” as there a a separate unit connected via an internal door under the stairwell and an occupied caravan on the lawn. The downstairs is updated however, upstairs (where the bedrooms are) is dated with peeling/chipping paint, and poorly sealed windows which allowed in such a draft that the bathroom door slammed shut if left open. It was so cold upstairs during the night that we all slept in the lounge. One of the double doors in the lounge had been taken off its hinges so we were unable to close off the living area. This meant we couldn’t adequately heat the room with the heat pump but it was also incredibly unsettling considering the door to the adjoining unit is directly across the hall from the unhinged door. Overall we felt unsafe at this property and deceived by the wide angle photography and careful wording of this listing.
