Little slice of heaven!!! Ideal for a small family of 6 or less. Provides comfort, warmth and a serene atmosphere. Not my first time here and definitely not my last.

"Turangi cottage"

Good size, had everything we needed. Fire was great. Nice quiet area of Turangi but still close to town centre. Great comms all the way through booking to arrival. Owned responded to question via text message straight away.

Shower had pretty low flow. A few fittings were dated (but house also has some new appliances). Smart tv, but wifi seened to drop out regularly. Not sure if it is the tv, router or user....Digital door lock failed to respond a couple of times. Worked after waiting a couple of minutes - could easily have been user error! Heater in bedroom was really loud, even on minimum. Still usefull to heat the room before going to bed (other quiet oil column heaters were provided)

"A nice place, but needs some TLC."

There was plenty of space and having two bathrooms is really useful. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a dishwasher and a washing machine. The location was excellent for us as we needed access to the Tongariro crossing and it was only 20 minutes drive to the park and ride.

It felt like the cottage could do with some TLC and it wasn't especially clean. There were dog hairs, even on the beds.

"Meet our needs."

Great basic stay to base ourselves when exploring local attractions. Very well fenced for little dogs. Comfortable main bed. Basic kitchen needs are there and BBQ. TV and XBox which was a hit with the hubby. Very fast wifi and easy parking.

Stairs very steep and loud so not ideal for anyone with limited mobility or small children. A number of bugs - flying, stinging and crawling. Fly spray was provided. Air conditioning in bedrooms was very effective however also very loud. Didn’t impact us as it was cool enough to sleep without it but would be difficult if you needed it on at night.
