The house is very old and dirt. We found a cigarette butt in one of the rooms, the blinds were extremely dusty and there were ants in the kitchen. One of the bathrooms had no shower screen, which made a mess every time someone showered there. I booked this because I saw some decent reviews, even someone saying they stayed there twice, I don't understand why someone would go back to this house.

Location excellent. Very roomy.

The ensuite bathroom had a leak, appeared to be from the vanity which kept floor wet in that area all the time. Did have a colony of ants in the kitchen. No spray available, but a can of spray was left at door following phone call. Weeds outside french doors needed clearing. They kept getting caught in doors when closing them. Could have done with instructions on the heating as it was at 30 some times. We worked it out in the end. Also instructions for dishwasher and over would be helpful.

this is the second time we’ve booked and stayed here and we just love the atmosphere!

Few appliances were worn out or faulty

Location was good, place was clean

The internet didn’t work, there was holes in the roof, no milk or tea and coffee. No guide for the heater and the television reception went in and out. The couch was broken. The shower was broken almost cut my foot on the drain. Wouldn’t stay again

Comfy Beds, good location, very spacious and plenty of off street parking. Great that there was linen, towels etc provided.

The only thing that was tricky is the shower in the ensuite has no glass casing or shower curtain. The water from the shower goes all over the tiled floor and doesn't have a wet room drain so the floor becomes slippery/dangerous.
