Bungalows Oasis

I didn't find any breakfast at Bungalow Oasis.

I didn't know I had to leave by 10am until the day I was leaving. I had planned to leave by 11 but someone came up to me and pointed to a sentence on a piece of paper. It was I had to leave by 10am - no exceptions! I was ready to go to I just went out to the street for a hour until my taxi picked me up.

The room and view were amazing, clean and comfortable. Almost too big for just the two of us. Can't explain how stunning the view from our balcony over Zicatella beach was. The pictures provided online do not do it justice at all, it was a pleasant surprise. Only downside was, the staff were asleep when we arrived late around 11.30pm so we had to wait on the street at night till she woke up to let us in, around 20 minutes, but that's ok we understood. Other downside was the lack of wifi and TV did not work, the staff explained they were trying to get it fixed but it unfortunately never was fixed. The wifi worked most of the time the TV never worked at all, it's not a deal breaker but when staying somewhere for 7 nights it would have been nice to sit down and watch TV after a long day at the beach. All in all decent stay and I would stay again :)

The pool, especially covered from the sun at the sun’s peak

Great and large facilities close to Zicatela’d night clubs and walking distance from La Punta.

We had no water jugs when we arrived and constantly asked the host and the staff for some and we never got them. We had to buy them multiple times (as there only were max. 10 L jugs available) from a nearby store and carry them all the way up to the third floor. We ran out of toilet paper and there was no spare toilet paper anywhere. The internet was nos working when we arrived. When we had these inconveniences and wrote to the host, either she didn’t respond and ghosted us or took ages to respond (she did help us solve the internet issue in a timely manner).

The room met expectations and was clean and comfortable. The A/C and fan worked great. It was close to the Mercado Zicalela which was great for shopping and eating out. The kitchen was very basic but fine for us to prepare meals, the fridge was great and there was lots of hot water.

The pool area was shared with the hotel across the street and was often host to screaming children during the afternoon. The owner kept two big dogs which had the run of the place. The internet was fairly weak and sporatic, and mostly could not handle the load. We couldn't stream despite hotel improvements to the system while we were there.

Good location, nice pool area and nice balconies

A little basic and rough around the edges. No clear check-in and check-out procedure and staff were quite unhelpful with things like taxis
