Blue Bell Cottage. Serene luxury farmstead

Farmstead perfection! Remote, but yet easily accessible. Stunning views. Well equipped, comfortable, super clean. The hosts (and their welcoming committee) are amazing. We had a wonderful time, spent an unforgettable new years eve. And with patience… even queen cat will come cuddling 🤪

Our stay at Blue Bell Cottage was excellent. Peace, greenery and comfort, with warm, genuine hospitality. Our three days thanks to Caroline and Richard were wonderful. Their tips for restaurants, walking tours, and calm beach places , whether locally or in Abel Tasman, were perfectly formulated and invaluable. The cottage is very stylishly decorated with a special , beautiful nature drawing by Caroline herself. The house offers a lot of privacy and has a beautiful view over the vast landscape.

In the route description it might be advisable to state that once you have found the house number at the gate, you should then follow the gravel road for another 3 to 400 meters.

I loved the location, very peaceful and convenient if going to Abel Tasman national park. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. I loved the extra touches, bathrobes, lap blankets , they thought of everything

Caroline, our host, is such a friendly person. She even bought same cookies and bread for us. The balcony is an amazing place to relax with a cup of tea. I would highly recommend this accomodation. :)

We enjoyed the peaceful rural setting and outlook and very welcoming hostess. The cottage was quite spacious and well equipped. Nice breakfast provided.

Height of the steps was a bit tricky.

The unit was set out beautifully and our hosts were so welcoming, oh and the human ones also lol. The setting is ideal for just being able to rest and relax. The bed is super comfy and the farm is lovely and quite. The treats left out for us was such a nice touch and there was nothing we needed. Handy to town, if you have a car, would highly recommend to all

It was perfect!

There seems to be many definitions for the word Cottage--Caroline and Richard have labeled Blue Bell as a "luxury" cottage--and that is more than accurate. Beginning with the warm and friendly greeting, the spectacular view, and, finally, the beaufully appointed cottage, you are in the heaven that is New Zealand. If that sounds overblown, it isn't. We hate to leave.

The cottage & the quietness of the countryside. The milk, bread & butter was provided complimentary. The bed was comfortable & warm.

Beautiful cottage in a great location to explore the area. Hosts so welcoming.
