Location, view, layout

It was very hot and only one AC in living room. Would have been nice to have a fan in each bedroom.

"Best lupines right behind the house"

I asked the staff where to find lupines and he told us that lupines can be found just a few mins walk from the house. The lupines field was the best I had seen in Lake Tekapo! The view from the house was great and the surrounding areas were quiet.

Internet speed was a bit slow. Uploading photos to Google took a long time. Seems to be problem in Lake Tekapo. However still could watch Netflix so not a big problem

Spectacular view, house is beautifully designed. Bathrooms had heated flooring, which was very useful given the cold.

"Only a short 3 night stay but more than comfortable for what we needed."

Loved the view from the house. The rooms were a good size, comfortable beds. Plenty of heating available. Kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking.

There was body wash available but would have liked some shampoo/conditioner provisions.
