Casa Tradicional da Vila

La maison est spacieuse avec tout le nécessaire, ainsi que le jardin très agréable. De plus, la proximité des sites à visiter est très pratique. Duarte est un hôte réactif et sympathique.

Very cosy, clean, comfortable and with beautiful garden for perfect breakfasts outside.) There’s a spacious parking close to the house. I would definitely stay there again.)

Everything was just perfect.

Wir hatten einen sehr herzlichen Empfang, sogar mit regionalen Speisen und Getränken. Der Nachbar hat uns noch Bananen aus seinem Garten geschenkt. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr zentral, man erreicht schnell jeden Fleck der Insel. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Duarte was such a kind host and the welcome package was so thoughtful! The house was very special and just a wonderful experience. The big garden was a beautiful spot for a bbq. The hosts are generous with their stuff and house. If I would have one improvement point, it would be that the island is very humid so a dehumidifier would be welcome in the house - though it didn’t make this stay less amazing at all.

I stayed at casa traditional da Vila for 8 nights with my husband and my friend's couple. The weather at Sao Miguel was not good, quite cold and rainy, but it didn't ruin my trip because we stayed here. The house had everything that we needed, even much more than we needed. We felt like we were living in a small museum, but cozy and warm. I want to go again to Sao Miguel just to stay here again.

Nothing. The location is also perfect to go day trip to all of the places in the island.

All was great. We really enjoyed the fireplace in the winter, the garden was lovely, the place nice and quiet. A really home-like atmosphere. We even had a bit of food from the host on the first day, when all the stores were closed.

If you're travelling with little children (what kind of madperson would do so on Azores?! :D ), one of the stairways (leads to a closed door) may appear a little unsafe, and you'll have to watch out for little things on dispay around the house.
