"Lovely lovely house!"

The owner of the house was extremely welcoming and heartfelt. The house itself was beautiful and very lovely, great view of the castle and the land, but also we were lucky to learn that there was a wonderful family history behind it. He explained to me about the region well so it made it very easy to get around. The house was immaculate and arranged very thoughtfully. We cooked at the kitchen one night and it felt at home. Because they had equipped some oil and salt and pepper, we didn't have to buy in inconvenient sizes and it was very easy to cook a simple meal. Stay in Ovidos was an unforgettable experience and one of the best parts of our trip to Portugal. Thank you very much!

The gentleman that met us was very informative about the property and local area. Very caring and personable about the property, it was a family run home. Although there was a bed downstairs they took into consideration the age of my daughter and set a bed specially up for her, upstairs. Beautiful view from the garden of the castle and local area. It was the little special touches that made it all the more special as well as how well they had renovated and decorated the home

The host Francisco Jr. was the nicest person we have met during our entire travels. He did a very complete job with all aspects of our stay. The house was spotless with such a smart design. Truly an excellent stay.

Great house and great hosts. Our neighbours locked themselves out of their apartment without keys, wallets or phones. I wrote to our hosts in the chat and they came in 15 minutes trying to open the apartment. They called the other host and in the end we found a solution. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and amazing view from the patio. Welcoming staff.

Close to the road but slept well at night. It would feel safer to have a more solid front door.
