Monte Borboleta - Villas, Apartments

Short 20 minute drive to the location in a private area. Apartment had everything we needed. Parking. Pool was great. Amazing views.

The property is on a beautiful hill top with magnificent views overlooking the landscape to the sea. The interior is tastefully decorated and all necessary amenities are available. Laurent is an excellent host always reachable and helpful. He shared a wonderful list of “things to do”, groceries and restaurants around the location. We could have breakfast outdoors even though it was December and enjoyed the sunshine with breakfast. The property was sufficiently heated with electric heaters.

One needs a car to get to the property. The bathroom in the bedrooms do not have a door so could be uncomfortable if traveling with friends.

Beautiful location , high on the hills. After the bustle of the towns below it, it was an oasis of calm. In warmer months, the pool area must be a joy and it was beautifully lit and presented.

I went in winter and the place was cold and damp to begin with. Laurent responded immediately and sent an additional duvet and I ran the heaters for a day which brought back the warmth.

The property and its location is truly amazing, immaculate gardens surrounding a beautiful pool with views out over Faro and to the ocean beyond. Fabulous for watching the sunset. Laurent is a lovely host, his ethos is all about guests relaxing and decompressing from the stresses of life 🙂 The apartment was comfortable and again we enjoyed the fabulous view. All together one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had.

Beautiful, clean cottages with all the facilities you would need and great shopping nearby. There was a bottle of water and some tea and coffee on arrival and our host was in touch before and during with tips and recommendations - he really is a fab host!

Our fantastic stay at this enchanting cottage in Portugal was magical. It's a challenge to put into words just how amazing our experience was; it left us either in blissful speechlessness or eager to talk endlessly about the perfection of that stay. Them team spent an amazing attention to detail for the delightful little cottages. Every aspect was carefully crafted to not only look aesthetically pleasing but also to create an atmosphere that enveloped us in coziness, tranquility, and pure relaxation. Remarkably, it was the first time my girlfriend hesitated to leave for sightseeing or other activities because, in her words, "the place is simply perfect." With a breathtaking view over the Algarve, the cottages felt like a magical haven, secluded from the surrounding world, resembling a cozy, tiny village. It was perfection in every sense. And if that wasn't enough, our host Laurent and his team elevated our stay to unforgettable heights. Beyond providing invaluable advice on places to see, Laurent curated a detailed list of restaurants, complete with addresses, phone numbers, and even Google locations. We explored many of these recommendations, and each one exceeded our expectations. Our hearts were undoubtedly captured by this place and the exceptional team that orchestrates its magic. A heartfelt thank you for creating an experience that will forever hold a special place in our memories.

Beautiful converted Portuguese buildings. Great garden with beautiful sea views. Short drive from Faro airport and from here you can visit the entire Algarve.

The property feels remote as it’s up in the hills, but it was only 5 minutes drive off the main road. The peace and quiet is what made it for us. The apartment was perfect for what we needed, the pool and outdoor relaxing areas were clean, well maintained and stylish. The unbroken views from the pool terrace were lovely.

The villas are just beautiful,very tasteful decorated, good setup,nothing missing. Great views, nice pool with a view,. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The Host Laurent is very welcoming and caring,got lots of tips about restaurants and places to visit.
