Monte Borboleta - Villas, Apartments

Incredible host who was so accommodating. Gave some excellent recommendations and was always on hand. Beautiful place to stay! A little out of Faro but very easy to grab an Uber and travel to wherever you wanted to go. Ubers were also very reasonable.

Beautiful / peaceful stay. A sense of tranquility as soon as you arrive. The pool area is perfect for relaxing day or night. Villa and surrounding area has so much character and very well maintained. Villa was equipped with everything you need. Laurent was very responsive and welcoming, gave us lots of great suggestions on supermarkets, restaurants and things to do.

Uber drivers were a little cranky with the bumpy road, I would suggest renting a car for convenience. Fans were available but air con would have been a bonus.

No children allowed policy however a family with two small children arrived and completely changed this magical place Not enough sunbeds for all the guests

The property is located in a remote spot high on a hill overlooking the Golden Triangle with magnificent views. It is wonderfully quiet and guests are left to discover their own contentment with access to a swimming pool, sun beds and shaded areas. There is an honesty bar and the host (Laurent) is on hand, via WhatsApp, to help with any issues (there were none} as well as recommendations for beaches, restaurants etc. All in all, we had a blissful time.

One minor point for improvement - could have done with another mirror in the property near an electric socket so my wife could do her hair and makeup.

There was no breakfast int he price

Everything was perfect

It's a beautiful new space on top of a cliff. We were visiting in December, and literally we could have been living in the clouds. The apartment was spacious and the owner was very hospitable and friendly and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The place even has a small kitchenette and a balcony.

It's very very far from the town, on top of a hill. Although we booked the place (and paid for it) we didn't end up staying there since it was so far from the town. There is literally nothing to do around and no restaurants nearby. Not recommended if you don't have a car to go around (which we didn't). Also this place is in Loulé, and we wanted to stay in Faro (which we later learnt were two different places quite a distance apart).
