Very comfortable and accommodating! Quite back yard with a pond and ducks. Close to everything and the host is a great guy!!! Great place to spend some time in New Orleans!!!

Just wish I could have stayed longer!!

We had a wonderful stay with Joey and felt very comfortable in his cozy place. Algiers Point was the perfect oasis of calm after a lively night in the French Quarter, just what we needed to recharge. Joey was always available and attentive, and he kept the fridge well-stocked, which was a lovely touch! The accommodation had a charming, rustic feel and was decorated with a lot of love. Though it might not have been spotless, the welcoming atmosphere more than made up for it. Overall, we’d gladly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience the authentic, laid-back side of New Orleans.

The accommodation was comfortable; however, for guests with strong pet hair allergies, a bit more attention to detail in cleanliness could make it an even better choice.

I love the location. We felt very safe. Our host lives next door and he was wonderful.. the house was cozy and unique.. every room had its own themes. We will definitely be staying there again when we visit New Orleans

Joey is the best host. He had the fridge all packed with goodies. He really went out of his way to accommodate us. I also really liked seeing the ducks in the morning having fun, and I Iook forward to seeing, the sweet doggie, Cleo again. Pro= across the Mississippi away from drunk people and noise, great places to eat, meet locals, and stay at some really lovely houses for rent. Only an 11 minute walk to the ferry.

Con= walk to ferry(depending on where you stay 10-30 min walk) Ferry runs every 30 min, so plan accordingly.

Fridge was full of food and drinks,That was a big bonus. The host was very nice and is right next door, as this is a duplex. Loved the location its just a short walk to the ferry that takes you across to the french quarter. Parking right out front.

Could Definitely use a good cleaning. To many beds, This is already a two bedroom place, so having two extra twin beds in the living room limited space to sit and relax.

Iit was a hostel. 10 different suitcases jammed into 3 loving areas.

It was very nice. Joey was an excellent host
