It’s cute.

The garage conversion lacks insulation, which causes two issues. It’s freezing and you can hear the highway all night. Additionally there is a door with a key paid on the inside that goes to the garage, no chain on the inside. Someone was in there during the night and made us feel unsafe. We put a chair under the door knob. When I advised the host, they called me a liar and offered $30 off as a “courtesy”. Also, the hot water goes off after 10-15 minutes.

The bed was comfortable

Bugs in the floor when we got there. The shower was pouring from the hot stem so much there was no water pressure for a shower. Had to shut the bathroom door to sleep & then the bathroom was too hot. The Wi-Fi had a very weak signal & we could barely watch the weather on YouTube with storms coming. No local channels.

It had good kitchen facilities and parking.close to the highway.

When we arrived there was an extreme smell of air freshener when we asked the host if there were some plugged in somewhere that we couldn’t find. we were advised that it was cleaning fluid. What they meant was toilet tablets just thrown in the cistern. I wish it was cleaning fluid the room was dirty with grease on the bedside table and above the bed on the walls. The sleeping area as a whole was dirty dusty baseboards, fire was part melted with a leg missing. Used coffee still in the coffee machine. This was disappointing after reading the reviews as was the fact that it was very noisy. Close to the highway so you can hear that at night. The bedding was clean and so was the kitchen area. As with many of the reviews we found the blinds insufficient. Overall a disappointing stay in comparison to many of the other places we have stayed during our vacation of the USA.

The kitchen was a nice surprise full kitchen. I decided to make a meal for two days was worth it. Coffee was delicious. TV was really nice. Smart TV and I enjoyed watching some movies on it. The bathroom was clean. It had plenty of blankets and a very soft bed. There was a freeze overnight and I stayed warm with the heat and blankets.

The shower Pressure is pretty low. The heat is perfect though.
