"Wonderful host and home to base Porto adventures"

Really interesting history and fabulous lounge to relax in. Quiet location yet easy walk to the historic centre and 5 minutes from river views. Incredible value for money. Very welcoming host who gave us lots of ideas for places to visit as well as explaining the history of the house

The third bedroom was rather small but aircon very effectiv

Fernando was an amazing host. Despite our arrival being late evening, he gave us a warm welcome & explained about the interesting history of the house. He gave us lots of information about the best places to visit & provided links to suggested activities. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The perfect base for a wonderful stay in beautiful Porto.

Charming, beautiful house with ample space for the five of us adults. Very clean and had extras in the kitchen for us. Greeted by Fernando who was extremely inviting and gave us some great tips / places of interest & eating options, along with some history of the house and Porto. Great host.

Beds were small but very comfortable. Great space to relax in the living room with a larger group like ours. Excellent location to walk around the city.

It wasn’t a problem for me because I’m short, but the shower is under an angled ceiling with a beam. The guys in our group had trouble not banging their heads while showering.

"Great stay."

The host- Fernando, meet us and make complete explanation of property; and make great recommendations for local cafe/restaurants It was hot first day and cold rainy rest two days. AC and heater work great. Hot water going to extremely hot in about 2 min. Free parking on the street, easy to find place on weekends or after 6pm. 10-15 min to the bridges, may be 15 min to the Se(slow walking).

Soundproof as original in beginning of XX century. Not noisy from street but from your party.

The host, the location, the place, the host recommandations ! Go eat on the places he suggests, ask for advise ,buy a daily or three days ticket if you want to use the transport (even is not necessary to go on the city center.
