The location adjacent to the castle...wonderful. The views, WOW!! The unique architecture was appealing and it had everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. The coffee machine was most appreciated. Great communication with the host, and very accurate arrival instructions. The road is narrow (well, actually just the initial stone gated area) but a most memorable approach.

Amazing location, great value

Great location, clean, easy to find, lots of space. It was very old and quirky. A real fun place to stay for at Castle experience.

The sheets and pillowcases were exceptionally perfume. I would suggest when doing laundry not to use a scented laundry soap. We were both very stuffed up all night.

Everything! Great space, beautiful views, Jose very responsive.

It’s location

The inefficient noisy aircon/heating, broke down twice. Lack of supplies to light the fire, sad, cold and unwelcome. No welcome pack, defensive and rude this is his attitude:- Hello Martina, I apologize for only getting back to you now 🙏. I hope you are enjoying the house and that everything is going well. Please let me know if you need any assistance. Is there firewood at the house? I usually leave it under the stairs that lead to the jacuzzi I responded :- We found the wood under the stairs. We looked for kindling to light the fire but there is none, there was just one fire lighter so couldn’t light a fire. A shame because the heating is not efficient. I’m wondering if this is an appropriate winter rental? We have gone back to the supermarket this morning and got cones and fire lighters. Hopefully that will make a difference. There does not appear to be any tea towels, I have looked in all the drawers. Have they been put away somewhere? Jose responded :- I believe we can solve all the issues without any problem and without the need to start pointing fingers. It seems to me that a house with 3 air conditioners, plus a fireplace, where we provide firewood at no additional cost, cannot in any way be a house unsuitable for renting in winter. I assure you it’s not easy to find better than this. I’ll buy some items I use at my own house to light the fireplace, and I’ll bring you more kitchen towels—I believe that’s what you’re looking for? While I’m at it, I’ll also bring more firewood, as when I asked yesterday, it was also to find out if you needed me to bring more or not. Jose had to come over to fix the air con and I asked for more wood and while we went out for lunch he fixed the aircon and lit a fire. Nice gesture, shame he didn’t do that on our arrival. Everyone says how helpful he is. However as we discovered he withholds info so then appears helpful.
