Galveston Escapes - Walk to Beach and Restaurants

The location was good. A little farther/harder walk to the beach than realized (with kids in tow), but we were able to drive and parking at the beach was free during the times we went.

Maybe an extra television in one of the bedrooms, although we were just fine with the 2 TV's that were there. The setup of the house was perfect for our purposes with the 2 bedrooms and shared bath up front and the primary bedroom with primary bath attached and access to the backyard. An additional trash bag would have been extremely helpful for us on the last day as trying to clean the home to leave it as we found it required more trash bags, but we just used the bags that were in the bathroom trash cans and made it work.

It was clean, really cute and updated. Plenty of space!

The beach chairs offered were old and rusty.

The house was great!

Very narrow driveway to park-the neighbors (with at least 5 private property or no trespassing signs) next to it had cameras that went off when you stepped out of the car on that side and then they came out to let you know they’re there I guess (twice this happened so we parked on the street after that).
