Exceptional property. Photos do not do it justice. The welcome by the staff was amazing. Super comfortable and located in a beautiful, quiet area of the estate with amazing views.

Big house, spacious.

1. Arrived Friday 7 July 2023. Underfloor heating on 1 side of the house did not work (the kitchen, dining room and main bedroom). Only the main bedroom's bathroom underfloor heating worked. All the underfloor heating panels were on yet still this part of the house did not work. This heating would have made our stay very pleasant as it was an extremely cold weekend due to the cold front. Very dull lighting in the main bedroom. One of the lantern globes also did not work. 2. Saturday 8 July 2023; when we arrived in the afternoon at the house, we noticed that the kitchen door was not closed and locked. Told the manager on Sunday who drives the white vehicle. Also told the maid on Sunday when we saw her. What if stray animals came in or unknown people just walked in when we were not at the house? Who would have been responsible if our belongings went missing? 3. On Saturday the kettle was not working properly. Told the manager when we saw him on Sunday. They replaced the kettle. Some light bulbs also had to be replaced. 4. On Sunday we had to call the lady whose cell number we had to report that the tumble dryer was not working and it tripped the DB board. We used the tumble dryer on Saturday and it worked fine. We were told that the maintenance guy was on their way to sort this out. An hour later we had to follow up as we were still waiting for them. 5. The manager took our clothes to a place in the farm to get it dry cleaned. We had no choice. They were supposed to bring it back completely dry. Half of the clothes were still wet/damp. We were very upset. Thereafter we could not wash and dry clothes as there was no use washing the clothes and no tumble dryer to dry it. 6. Some access codes did not work at the gate. Very disappointed with the overall stay. Paid for amenities that did not work. The house should have been inspected before our stay.

The amenities were fabulous , underfloor heating , heaters . A really fabulous stay

The house was spacious and well furnished. It was nice and warm with the under floor heating .The host went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, even delivering treats for me and my guest every morning which was a great touch . Thanks

The bathroom fittings, like taps and shower heads are a bit outdated and need updating in my opinion.
