Waterford House

The quality of the home, comfort and amenities were outstanding. Booking process was easy and promptly attended to. Well equipped kitchen, if dining in. We stayed here during winter and thoroughly enjoyed sleeping on beds with the electric blankets. House was warm enough without using the fireplace. Access to the trails on the property was a bonus. Shuttle service from the lodge into the village is very convenient. We walked up ftom the village to the sister hotel for drinks, which was fabulous.

We didn't appreciate the agents attitude when checking out. Check out time is 10h00 and while packing, the staff were allowed in to commence the clean up. We requested a late check out for 11h00, and was informed about an additional fee for the extra hour, notwithstanding the staff were already cleaning up. International accommodation standards allow guests 1 to 2 hours extra to exit, when requested. Something worth considering.

Beautifully furnished spacious home with every convenience in a safe estate. Our host brought in an extra fridge and freezer.

The house and surrounding town were awesome. The check-in team was efficient and friendly. Lovely getaway for my family.

We wished the house had some fans as it got quite hot.
