Historic Grade 2 listed Cottage with Parking

Lovely town ideal location shops bars restaurant s etc

Good location in the town and spacious for a family of 4. Kitchen provided all the crockery and cutlery we needed for a short stay.

If you have small children, be aware that the stairs are very steep. Some of the decor was looking a bit tatty and the shower curtain/screen didn’t keep the water in. Unfortunately the two nights that we stayed, there were very loud youths in the next door car park, talking/swearing loudly, banging things on the trolley cover roof and generally being antisocial until about 3am. It was also a bit tricky to find! Would benefit from having a sign to direct around to the back of the property where the front door is.

The house is located right on the edge of the historic district yards from the station and supermarket. There are three parking spaces next to the clapboard house. The facilities are all perfertly as expected.

The bath/shower was a a bit outdated, separate shower and bath would have been preferable

Location was good but noisy from road ,railway and pub which can’t be helped. Nice original fireplaces and built in cupboards.

Really in need of some tlc and updating. Why have artificial palm trees if you don’t dust them??! Wallpaper peeling, cheap towels, only one tea towel, no kitchen paper. TV mounted so high you almost had to lie down to watch. Cheap bed linen not ironed.Very cheap curtains and blinds. The whole place felt shabby. Such a shame as it could be lovely.
