"Great location, super hosts and a very relaxing location"

Private, quiet location with great hosts. Finding a selection of local produce in the kitchen was a nice surprise. Off-road parking was good. Waking up to countryside, bird song and the local diary herd was delightful.

Very little bug mainly the prevalence of flies around the cottage door. Spent some time swatting them inside the cottage. A minor irritation that did not detract from a wonderful stay.

We absolutely loved staying there! The property is so full of history, and located in such a beautiful area. The owners and neighbors were very personable, and warm. We highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay where the ambience is peaceful, calm and beautiful . We would, without a doubt, return here.

"Perfection!"

Absolute perfection. The ideal place for a getaway break with dogs! The garden is dog-proof, there is plenty of wonderful walking right from the doorstep, the view from the property is idyllic and the accommodation is fabulous. Oh and the bed was so comfortable I had the best 2 nights of sleep in absolutely ages! I'm already planning my next stay here.

"Perfect Xmas stay"

We were lucky enough to book this cottage over the Xmas period. The woodburner was ablaze when we arrived, welcoming us into the cosy, clean and roomy cottage. There was also a Xmas tree it up with lights - just lovely. The hosts were also lovely and happy to help if needed.
