Relaxing holiday cottage in the beautiful Usk Valley

Good location, quiet and plenty of parking. Nice welcome gift of bread, milk, butter and jam which was much appreciated.

Not much comfortable seating for 3 adults

We had a lovely two night stay in this beautiful cottage. It was very spacious with lovely decor and a gorgeous kitchen and bathroom. The bath was absolutely gorgeous and I enjoyed a long soak after a long day! The power shower was lovely too. The main bedroom had a very comfortable bed with lovely bedding and was a lovely size room with nice views of the windmill in Llancayo. It had a lovely garden for our little dog which was all enclosed so she couldn’t get out. It had great WiFi, Alexa and Netflix etc on the Tv. It was a lovely rural location very quiet and felt very safe and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We wish we could have stayed longer! It was lovely and warm and we loved the log burner too. It was lovely to find such a lovely cottage that was dog friendly and there were bowls and a dog bed for our dog too. Isobel kindly left milk, butter bread and marmalade on arrival which was lovely after a long drive!

Beautiful location and the house was decorated so beautifully! We loved the detail of the little basket with bread/jams and the milk left for us in the fridge.

We could not get hot water on our last morning at the property so could not shower.

A beautiful and very spacious cottage. High quality contents and wonderful views. We felt very much at home and enjoyed lovely walks from the front door. Excellent communication from Isobel the owner who was very helpful and on hand if we needed anything, nothing was too much trouble.

The bread and jam provided was absolutely beautiful. Thank you! The log fire and bath made the weekend! Helped us to feel really comfortable and relaxed.

We absolutely loved the cottage. The only thing that would have made it a bit more private and comfortable, would have been curtains in the little room. The bed is very creaky. Not sure if it’s about to break? Mainly on the side nearest to the fireplace.

Lovely location super peaceful , very clean and tidy property. Plenty of parking. Everything you need in the kitchen. Great communication from the owners. We had a great Christmas here , would recommend staying.

The single beds in the second bedroom were quite creaky , in particular the one by the window .

Beautiful cottage, decorated very tastefully. Great log burner. Only 1 mile front Usk town. Lovely garden area to sit/eat outside, if only it did not rain.

No microwave. But plenty of other kitchen facilities.
