Relaxing holiday cottage in the beautiful Usk Valley

Lovely country cottage with plenty of amenities in the kitchen and living areas. The log fire was a plus especially with the snow.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! The house was warm and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxation. Communication with the owner was excellent, and they even agreed to a late check-out, which was a huge bonus. Highly recommend!

It might be helpful to have a few extra blankets available for the colder months.

The cottage is beautiful - even more beautiful and tastefully renovated than the pictures reveal - and very peaceful. Isobel was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. As the pictures will tell you the living room has a log burner and there are two bedrooms upstairs (one with a double bed and the other with two singles). We loved our stay as we wanted to be somewhere near nature but within a reasonable walking distance from a town. (And I mean nature - think of spiders and the sounds and smells of cows.) It is a good half an hour walk to Usk where the nearest restaurants and shops are, which is worth bearing in mind if you don't want to drive. We spent a day in Usk and especially enjoyed the Rural Life Museum and the castle.

Beautiful setting , the cottage was stunning inside. Our first family holiday and we couldn’t have picked a better stay.

Amazing house, lovely and pieceful place, short drive to the lovely village Usk and river. Owner very friendly and welcoming with nice gifts on arrival. Will definitely be going back.
