Relaxing holiday cottage in the beautiful Usk Valley

Lovely host, clear communication, lovely house and a great area around the house. Truly in nature with all the birds in the garden and around the house. Apparently, dogs are welcome. We don't have any, and apart from some dog items in the house, no other signs/smells from any dogs.

A squeaky bed, Chairs at the table weren't the most comfortable. The couch and lounge chair were a bit too deep to our liking. Apart from that a real lovely place to stay.

The location of the property is absolutely perfect for us. The property has everything you need and the surroundings are beautiful. Isobel was so happy to help at any point and even left little extra touches like fresh bread, butter, plenty of milk and marmalade- delicious! The log fire was perfect after a long day and the bedrooms were comfortable. The bathroom was a definite highlight!

Very little that we didn’t like. I would say the seating arrangements in front room were the only thing I would say were slightly difficult as it was tricky for all four of us to sit on the sofas at the same time without it being a bit of a squeeze. One of us would sit at the dining table, which isn’t a problem.

A beautiful location. Perfect for a relaxing break with the family and dog. The cottage was clean and comfortable with excellent facilities. A really enjoyable stay

This is a beautiful, cottage with lots of space. The beds were super comfortable and we all had the most relaxing stay. We loved watching the birds each morning from the kitchen stools whilst having coffee. Lovely little touches of milk, bread, Welsh cakes and jam on arrival very welcome. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Isobel x

The enclosed garden was so nice. The area was beautiful ,lovely flat walks with our dogs.they were thoroughly worn out,the log burner was so cosy amd the instructions on how to light it were very clear.the little pot of home made jam and fresh bread were delicious .would definitely return
