Two bed Cottage in Cobh

Not in a habit of leaving reviews This is false advertising Nothing like photos Before people spend high cost This is not a cottage but converted shed Serious health hazard Damp and mould every room Big patch in main bedroom Dehumidifier on on arrival Electric heaters that came on sporadically which meant cold at night Tried contact property owner twice no answer bedsheets dirty While advertised as close to Fota Hard to access on foot On a very busy road Sound of traffic audible Sadly not a cosy or peaceful cottage

It felt damp and musty didn’t cook there at all

The shower was good

Was a damp musty feeling to the cottage. Bed linen didn’t feel clean. Kitchen was clean and bathroom. Needs to update and painted. Clear signs of mold. Dehumidifier did help.

We stayed to go visit the native American Feathers which was lovely to see

The cottage was freezing + had a very musty smell . There were 2 electric heaters but didn't give off much heat , we had the oven turned on with door open to generate heat, there was a stove which turned out to be electric but had no plug !!. The bedrooms were damp + cold + the bed clothes were damp + unwashed we stayed in the living room all nite which was very uncomfortable + very little sleep was had !! All electrics were overloaded into extension leads which was a hazard !! Checkout was 11am the nxt morning but we left at 7.50am as we couldnt wait to leave !!! Whoever the cleaner is needs sacked the place was filthy with dead flies etc all over the worktops . We left it cleaner than what it was when we arrived . Overall very disappointing as we travelled from Belfast to stay overnight . 100% wouldn't recommend. Disgusted !! Its advertised on booking.com Cosy Cottage my arse !!
