Penthouse in old Dalmatian house - Flybridge

The apartment was perfect for us in every way. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood just steps away from the main part of the old town, and very convenient both to the ferry and to fantastic restaurants. The beds are really comfortable and husband says it was the best night's sleep he had on our entire vacation. The panoramic views from the patio are amazing. The photo shows the outside of the apartment (from the side opposite to the terrace); the next three photos show where the apartment is located relative to the rest of the town (it's the tallest building, with the aqua colored shutters), and the last three photos, of the fortress, the harbor, and neighboring houses, were all taken from the patio. The service is above and beyond helpful. The owner's assistant met us in person upon our arrival with a refreshing drink of ice cold water and provided us with a lovely array of espresso capsules for morning coffee. The bathroom is huge and airy, and the towels are soft and fluffy.

It was no problem for us, as we travel light and are reasonably fit albeit 60-70 yr olds, but guests need to be aware that there are a lot of stairs involved - first to reach the building, then to reach the room, and finally to reach the bed. I felt like it was totally worth it, to be able to have such a fantastic view and to be in such a perfect spot, but for the infirm, or those traveling with multiple toddlers and too much heavy luggage, it might not be as ideal as it was for us.

Bedroom space was a little claustrophobic. The kitchen shutter was broken so not enough natural light.

View was stunning from the terrace. Apartment is comfortable and worked well for us. Super close to ferry and the rest of old town. Having laundry facilities onsite was a big plus for us. Would stay here again!

Nothing. The low ceiling, stairs to loft and to get to apartment would be a challenge for some people. The view made up for the climb!

the glass door with the view was broken when we arrived and I had to fix it. no view if the door wasn’t fixed

the view from the balcony was fantastic, this is a large area and was perfect. the property was extremely well located just a short walk from the town.

be aware the apartment is up three flights of stairs and the sleeping loft is quite difficult to access. there is a narrow staircase to the sleeping area which has very low headroom.
