Mary's Residence Ipoh

I like this property on two counts. First it is an ideal fit for our group of 11 people. The place is very neat and clean and comes with a nice garden. There are sufficient bedrooms & bathrooms for privacy and common areas for the group to get together for meals or just chat. The latter is hard to do staying at hotel. I also like that the property is located within what was a 'new village', I think. It is close to the city centre and yet gives us a feel of the yesteryears in Ipoh. There are many eating places within walking distance. We tried three places; one was excellent and two good. The host is the second reason that I rate this property high. She is friendly and quick to respond to her customers' needs. I really appreciate that. We even get two small plants from her garden, of couse with her permission.

The property is next to a coffee shop that operates from the morning to the afternoon. It is super convenient for food but can be a noisy in the early morning. If you plan to do big cookouts, this property is not meant for it. This did not borther us as we wanted to sample the food in Ipoh.

High stairs and no proper kitchen area for cooking

Excellent home stay for 13 of us. The house is very clean and bed is comfortable. Amy is a super host. Very responsive and helpful. You can trust her food recommendations. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

The size of the house, it is really big and new. Very clean and it is impressive that every room has an ensuite bathroom. The story that comes with the house is lovely too. Lovely for the children to want to preserve the house.

Nothing on the house. Everything is available. Wish I could stay longer.

The space is very comfortable for a big group and convenient location to nearby eateries.

Pressure of the shower is pathetic for some bathrooms. Cockroaches at the ground floor suite. No rooms with twin beds.

Convenience and near to our activities.The host is very helpful and very friendly and met all our needs. MR is well managed

Maybe can provide more kitchen towels so that we can use it for cleaning.

Suitable for big family, comfortable, clean and nice environment to spend quality time with big family..

There were quite number of cockroaches spotted in the room and bathroom..
