Casa Sentir a Maia

The house is provided with all you need for a perfect holiday, also a dedicated private parking for our car. There is a terrace to enjoy ocean’s view. The house is nice, very clean and bright. The Host was very nice with us, he provided a warm welcome when we arrived with some local food and he was always available to share useful info with us.

Malé, ale velice útulné, krásně zrekonstruované a čisté. Skvěle vybavené (kromě všeho potřebného v kuchyni jsme ocenili i pračku a sušičku zabudované ve skříni v obývacím pokoji, nenašli jsme jen lopatku na smetí), velice klidná lokalita za kostelem (zvony často zvoní, ale nijak nás to nerušilo, občas v noci štěkají psi v okolí, ale ocenili jsme výhled na moře a do zeleného údolíčka na konci městečka). Majitelé velice milí a vstřícní, na uvítanou nás čekal košík s potravinami a vínem pro první večeři. Ocenili jsme též vyhrazené parkovací stání pod kostelem.

Joao was a friendly host who greeted us on arrival and dropped by the night before departure. Maia is a cute town that was fun to walk around, especially down the multicoloured steps to the sea. The villa itself was pretty tiny but clean and well-equipped. The air conditioning worked well in the main room, but you have to leave the bedroom doors open to benefit from the cooling at night. There was a back patio with a tranquil view of trees and sea, and a charcoal BBQ (which we didn't use). We especially appreciated the goody basket!

It felt a bit cramped - you have to be very close and comfortable with your travel partners!
