Feochan View

Lovely cottage on the outskirts of Oban. Very warm and comfortable.

This was the perfect location to end our trip round Scotland with a short drive into Oban but still felt you were in the middle of nowhere. The highland cows across the road were an extra bonus watching them being fed in the morning!

Well equipped property with great enclosed garden for the dog. Lovely surroundings.

The house was in a great location, Very central for all our trips around Scotland. Jim phoned us on arrival and gave us all the information we needed for our stay.

There was no hot water in the evening.

Przytulny domek z piętrem kilka minut od centrum Obanu. Gospodarz Jim był pomocny i zawsze w kontakcie. Wiejska okolica z owcami za oknem. W domku w pełni wyposażona kuchnia, pralka, ogrzewanie, gry i wygodne łóżka. Wspaniała drewniana podłoga w kuchni i wykończenia w całym domu :)

Brak kocy, które dodałyby komfortu wieczorami oraz mocno zużyte patelnie w kuchni.

The location outside of Oban suited us perfectly. It was quiet, and we enjoyed sitting in the yard listening to birds singing. The room heating was excellent. The water in the shower was hot. After we arrived, Jim called to explain how everything worked. Parking was excellen,t and the chairs in the yard were comfortable.

The hot water in the kitchen and bathroom did not work well, but the shower was hot. No problem, as we heated water in the electric kettle for washing dishes.

We went self catering.

Lovely touch of a welcoming bottle of wine Host was really helpful contacting us on the first night to check we knew how to use the storage heaters as it was going cold

Would have been nice to be able to do a walk from the property (perhaps there was one?). As it was, we wouldn’t have had time to do it this time anyway…
