Sycamore Cottage York, dog friendly, close to the river

Cozy property, excellent location. On street parking.

Shower wasn't very warm.

Very nice. Loads of space and everything we needed there. Great location.

Location to the centre of town was excellent.

We were a group of two and only one of us was able to park as part of the accommodation. Despite the road being practically empty. The other group had to park on the car park. It was close by but added an extra £20 on top of the trip. Bed was too small and not very comfortable. One of the bathrooms could of done with being a little cleaner and the shower needs a bit more power. The accommodation was nice, but sadly not to the value of £321.00 for one night.

The location of the property was perfect. To have a property so close to York Minster and other sights. The property also came with free roadside parking.

The double bed in the second room was a little bit too small with extra pillows required.

Great location, within walking distance to the city centre. Parking was free with permit arranged by the host and was on the street outside the property.

Dishwasher did not clean particularly well, we had to re wash dishes by hand.

Great space with the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the washing machine was well needed at this point in our travels. The location was fantastic, an easy flat walk into York and all the sights. We parked the car and didn't need it again until we left. Great communication. Loved our stay and would definitely return if visiting York and the UK again.

Spacious, clean, great location, good value

Bed in main bedroom could be bigger given the size of the room, and it was not a very comfortable mattress. Could do with extra mugs, glasses, bowls and side plates.
