"Great house in a great location with great owners and comfortable rooms"

Fantastic location, very easy to find and amazing views (in the winter).

Our only issue was the noise from the road in the downstairs bedroom. Even with the outside shutters it was very noisy so take some earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Top two bedrooms were completely fine. Some complimentary ear plugs would have been a nice touch. But it didn’t spoil the trip :-)

Great house with fantastic views of York minster. Easy access, everything was well explained beforehand, convenient for parking directly behind the house and Monks Bar Car park as we travelled in 2 cars. All rooms are spacious and well kept, the decor is lovely and homely. Kitchen facilities were great with everything you need with some little added extras.
