The hosts were lovely people. A lovely location. The hot tub was amazing overlooking a beautiful lake.

The view from the van was amazing, a pond full of wildlife, fish, turtle,, moorhens and a heron. The hot tub was wonderful. The hosts were like visiting friends, very friendly and informative. The location is central to great days out. We went to York and the coast.

Lovely caravan and private hot tub, lovely hosts

The setting was nice, the caravan living area and bedrooms were clean with fresh bedding. Heating on a timer for when it went cold during the evenings. Plenty of blankets and a cosy living room area. The hot tub was brilliant and really relaxing to look out onto the lake. The owners are lovely and very friendly. Cleaning products provided and plenty of tea, coffee, condiments.

Guests need to be aware this caravan is on the property of the owners own home. I had not realised this before booking and this might not be a problem for some people but It might be for others. The caravan is at the side of the property as you go in and it is fenced around so an element of privacy. There is a family dog on sight which may also put some people off especially if you have small children as it did come to say hello, it was a very friendly dog. The kitchen does not have a freezer, i found this a shame as we had brought freezer items and ice for drinks that got wasted. Some of the kitchen items were not the best, the frying pans were very old and looked like they had been on a fire pit at the bottom. Probably best to bring your own. A little tired in some areas but all in all it didn't stop two friends having a nice time.

If you want to book this lodge, DO IT! This is a brilliant place, Lisa and Paul are amazing hosts, the location with lake next to it is amazing and the hot tub is perfect addition
