The Buckingham

The location was perfect ,only about 10 mins from anything in York . The house was immaculate and decorated with a lovely a Christmas tree. Holly was at hand at all times . The house was warm in most rooms, especially the kitchen ,which was beautiful and very well equipped tastefully and with underfloor heating.

The loft room was a bit cold and I thought the quilt could have been a higher tog or blanket available .I also only like Featherfilled pillows , not foam filled . Only one tea towel and you only get one permit for one car. We had two cars which was a bit of a shame and an extra expense.

The house was immaculate, spacious, well equipped, stylish comfy cozy and in the perfect location for a York City visit. Host was on hand and checked in with us by message to make sure everything was OK. It really was perfect!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. The streets are a little narrow, so it made parking a little tricky, but we only had to get over that hurdle once.

The house was very clean, comfortable and warm. Easy walk to York Centre. Quiet location. Beautiful house.

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated and well equipped, lovely comfortable beds. Great location, short walk into the City centre, we didn't want to leave!

An additional parking permit would have been great as there were 3 couples, but we found a car park very close by.

Excellent location. Close to many amenities and only a short walk to the river.

My husband finds stairs difficult so a downstairs toilet would have been brilliant though I cannot see where it could go except in the outside coal shed.

My only small fault would be that I hoped there would have been some shower products as I didn’t pack any, but it really wasn’t a problem, and there are shops very close by :)
