Flaxman Avenue - Lovely 4 bed home, 5 mins drive to York City Centre, Free superfast Wi-fi, Free on-street parking

Good Standard. Airy rooms. Family bathroom and additional toilet upstairs. Nice compact Garden. Location convenient to Uni and not too far from town centre. Ability to bring the dog. Nice park on doorstep to walk the dog.

Overgrown hedge bushes by front entrance. Freezer with excessively built-up ice.

The location was beautiful, the view of the park. The Bus stop at the end of the road 10 mins to the centre. Beds very comfortable, Shower amazing.

The fact we had no English TV channels tv very hard to work if at all, no instructions for TV or heating. Contacted owners but no answers all weekend. Only negative of the trip for us. Several comments left in the book saying the same thing but nothing has been done, obviously not interested in actually reading it. No guide to bin dates etc either.

Location, parking okay, garden, comfy beds, nice kitchen.

There was no cot and high chair.

Proximity to city centre. Nice park opposite house, doggy friendly. Shops and chippy close by.

Garden was a bit overgrown, freezer needed defrosting and no Information regarding appliances, emergency numbers and what to to with refuse etc. Overall was very clean and comfortable for 4 adults, not great if more people staying, as only two small sofas. Would have really liked wifi.

The property was clean, had all the facilities required, pleanty of cutlery, plates etc. nice little welcome packs (shower gel, shompoo, soap) along with washing up liquid and cleaning materials. it was easy to get into the property, and spoke briefly to the neighbours who were nice.

The location was not the best, in the middle of a housing estate. a neighbouring dog kept barking till midnight and started again at 5am (not their fault) the premisies although clean could be doing with some renovation work, lots of scrapes and dents on the walls, and the bathroom doors did not lock, one bathroom lead out into the kitchen which is not ideal.

Easy to get into the city centre. We had issues finding the WiFi password which after getting in touch was quickly sorted for us.

There was 4 of us and only space for 3 comfortably on the sofa and chair provided. The property sleeps 6 so this would have been a bigger issue. The bathroom with the shower is down stairs which was a little inconvenient however good that there is a single toilet upstairs to use during the night. Little things like a tea towel in the kitchen would have been useful too

Spacious apartment that looked like the pictures on the post. It also has a massive garden to go with the many rooms. We were a group of 5 and the property perfectly met our needs. It's not in the city centre, but it is only a 30 minute walk away.

The host was unresponsive and did not get me any information other than the code to get in the day before my stay (and that it because I asked). There were also many ants in the kitchen area, which made leaving any food on the counter for longer than 30 minutes tricky.

Spacious, Clean and close to city centre, definitely worth the money you pay for it.

Shower did not stay hot, single beds were VERY creeky, need somewhere to hang clothes in second double bed room even just a hook and needs a bit of tlc in some places like banister and back door.
