Flaxman Avenue - Lovely 4 bed home, 5 mins drive to York City Centre, Free superfast Wi-fi, Free on-street parking

Lovely modern home, very comfortable and has everything you need/want.

Plates were dirty in the cupboard and no hot water or heating till my partner sorted the boiler.

Poor communication. Mould on walls. No wardrobes or storage. Paint needs doing. Garden overrun. Generally not good. Save your money and go somewhere else

Single beds were noisy Telly in front room too high on the wall

The location was great and cheap local taxis, the house was clean and the shower gel and soap on the towels was a lovely gesture.

Needed more mirrors for when people were getting ready

The photos really don't do the property justice. It is a lovely, cosy , spacious home from home. It's nice and clean with towels and little toiletry packs on every bed, even a cleaning pack in the kitchen. The bathroom and toilet are downstairs but a separate toilet upstairs made a big difference with 6 of us staying. In a lovely location to walk or drive to York, it has a park directly across the road and it's so very quiet at night time. Never heard a sound outside. The beds are comfy. Modern amenities and enclosed back garden. Great for little kids to play. We will definitely book to stay again next time we're in York. Great value stay for the size of the property!

There are a few marks to the paint work here and there, but honestly who cares! We loved the place.

Warm, clean, reasonably well equipped.

No terrestrial tv, tv too high on wall, no plug for bath, front garden hedge overgrown path, squeaky single bed.
