The location is outstanding. I couldn't ask for better .Love views from the roof terrace, and the rooms were spacious and clean.

Such a unique stay right in the heart of York- perfect location for exploring. The hosts were so kind and this is one of Yorks river landmarks.

Not much at all- but note there are a lot of stairs.

We appreciated the thoughtful restoration of this historic building, its tasteful furnishing, central location for exploring York, pretty garden , roof terrace offering panoramic views of the city, and private parking.

The noise at night can be a nuisance, but to be expected given the location.

If you want to mark a significant Birthday by staying in a unique and exceptional building, look no further! Although very close to York town centre, we spent a significant amount of time in the tower, which is both grand and very comfortable. Drinks on the roof terrace, overlooking the river, and watching the world go by.

This property is so quintessentially York and so magic and special. It’s so well equipped, lovely and warm, and really does feel like your own castle. The rooftop on New Year’s Eve was the icing on the cake as we watched firework displays across the city. Nathan is responsive and really helpful, though we had no problems at all. Cannot recommend Lendal Tower enough ❤️

The need to negotiate who got which room, as we all wanted to sleep in every one of them!
