Beautiful rooms, fantastic location, free and very secure parking

Location was perfect. The Tower is completely different to anywhere I have every stayed before. I cannot recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back for another visit.

There is nothing that we could possibly fault. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place for you. Nothing else to add, the place was perfect.

The location of the property is superb. We parked the car in a secure garage provided with the property and didnt need it again until we came home. The kitchen is very well equipped. On the whole the heating was sufficient, just one night we found it cold and wasnt sure how to activate the control.

It is a very old property, with dark panelled walls. The lounge ( and bedrooms) were very atmospheric. The top floor bedroom ( 39 steps up a spiral wooden staircase) has a bathroom in the bedroom. Not much privacy. The next floor down has a bedroom with ensuite. The third bedroom has no bathroom, so anyone staying in that room would have to use the facilities downstairs by the front door. We are all in our late 70's with dodgy knees and found the stairs quite a challenge some days. I don't know if I read on the booking form that it was going to be quite so steep ( and noisy) when getting to the bedrooms.

Never had a breakfast and the location was central to everything we needed.

Beds were comfortable on the first floor we found the second floor very uncomfortable and used a duvet underneath and third bedroom was 50/50.

This is an historic and unique property. It has maintained its historic feel but has been modernized to provide a comfortable and luxurious stay. Lendal Tower is in a central location, convenient to sites, restaurants and parks. We had the added bonus of the rooftop terrace where we enjoyed a concert taking place in the Museum gardens next door. My teenage grandsons said it’s their favorite of all the many places they’ve stayed. I heartedly agree.

There’s really nothing to dislike. The circular stairs could be a challenge for some but our multigenerational group did just fine.

My sons had great sleeps, while my husband and I struggled. We were in the mezzanine and never got much sleep, think the mattress and pillows need a wee upgrade.
