Hahei Beach House - 3 Bedroom

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The house was clean, had everything you could ever need for your stay and on top of that, the owners were amazing people. They welcomed us on our first day and were always available to help if needed. Location is prime, very very short walk to Hahei Beach. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thank you 😊

Location. Comfortable beds.

Kitchen cookware was really outdated. old scratched Teflon pans and plastic hot water kettle were negative points.

The location was great and easy to find. We only stayed one night, which was a shame as we'd have loved to stay longer. The kitchen was well equipped, and things like clingfilm and foil were available. We cooked and used the dishwasher, so again, it was great to have all that available. Loved the outside shower, although we didn't use it. They provide kids buckets and spades for hotwater beach. The beds were comfortable too. They also provided a great little selection of books for kids and a couple of games.

The only downside was that there were ants coming in from outside, over by the bay window. So we just had to make sure all food was sealed or in the fridge. Appart from that, there were no issues.

Location is lovely. But The whole of hahei is a great location. It’s such a beautiful beach.

It was exceptionally expensive (TOP DOLLAR) for a bare bones basic house. The beds and mattresses were probably about 30 years old and as uncomfortable as they come. Did not sleep for 2 nights. The place was fairly clean. However I thought the note on the fridge telling guests to do the dishes was audacious at best, rude at worst. Given the price we paid we should have to be doing our dishes. It should be included in the price. We didn’t leave any mess or make any dishes. But it was very cheeky. The place was clean enough. Overall the price was extortionate for what it was. Not somewhere I would recommend to friends.

The location was perfect, lovely short stroll to the beach. Cleanliness was 100% so much attention to detail with the cleaning. Loved the books and puzzles for our children and the buckets and spades were a godsend as we had forgotten ours! Crispy clean white sheets and towels made for a very comfortable sleep. The decor was fresh and had little decor touches that made it feel very homely whilst in keeping with the kiwi bach beach vibe, would definitely recommend for families and would book here again when we return!
