Kyonoyado Gekkoan

Je suis arrivée dans cette maison traditionnelle et j’ai eu la chance d’obtenir un accueil plus que chaleureux de la part de Shohei et Shin. Le logement est un havre de paix. Il convient parfaitement aux personnes souhaitant profiter d’un moment de sérénité seules ou accompagnées. Par ailleurs, le petit déjeuner proposé par les hôtes permet de découvrir de nouvelles saveurs pour une expérience authentique. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

The hosts Shinn and Shohei are amazing. They spent more than an hour giving us a history of the property and pointed out the various beautiful screens, pictures and paintings in the room. They created a Whta's App channel and greeted us every morning and checked in if we needed anything. They also gave us shopping and sightseeing tips. We were looking forward to returning home everyday and being greeted with a welcome letter and they always suprprised us with a refreshment. We loved the quiteness of the neighborhood with access to station and shops. We highly recommned this Machiya. They also arranged for our luggage to be transported to two different locations and Shohei came at 6:30 am to check us out. We highly reecomment this stay.

The only complaint we have as seniors- we would have liked two chairs. It was hard for me to sit on the floor. WE understand they wanted to keep a traditional look but the bed was very comfortable.

On ne peut que tout aimer et souhaiter rester plus longtemps. Le personnel est aux petits soins, nous ne manquons de rien. Le repas kaiseki du soir était excellent, tout nous pousse à revenir. Un grand merci à Shin et Shohei pour leur gentillesse, leur professionnalisme, et leur sourire. Nous nous souviendrons de notre passage chez vous !

We loved every part of our stay. The property was fantastic, really beautiful, traditional Japanese home. The food was excellent and service superb. They made us feel at home and went out of their way to help us book reservations and experiences.

de gastvrijheid en service, maar ook de accommodatie zelf met de kleine tuin. Van begin tot het eind waren ze zeer behulpzaam en gaven ze ons veel informatie over de stad en de woning zelf. ze waren ook heel flexibel met het inchecken toen we iets vroeger aankwamen dan verwacht.

On arrival, the staff explained the features of this stunning ryokan, from the tatami floor and unique artwork to the private onsen. All the features have been deliberately chosen to demonstrate the best examples of what Japan represents. Whilst obviously beautiful in appearance, you’d likely not realise the significance at a glance, which is why the stories behind them were so interesting to hear. They also didn’t hesitate to accommodate extra requests such as making a restaurant booking for us and handle luggage forwarding. Finally, the fruit dish as part of the welcome to the accommodation and the breakfast the next morning were delicious. Thank you to Shin, Shohei and the team for making our stay so special.
