가게주인이 엄청 친절하고 숙소에는 필요한 모든것이 제공되어 있었습니다. 주변 환경도 엄청 좋았고 전 혼자 사용하였지만 커플들이나 가족이 여행으러 아주 적합한 곳입니다. 그리고 근처에 온천이 있는데 유노미시?? 온천보다 훨씬 좋았습니다. 일본 전통집을 체험하고싶다면 강력추천입니다 다음에도 재방문 할 의향있습니다.

Huge and lots of character

What a special experience! It was so beautifully, traditionally decorated, it felt like the full Japanese experience! The man who checked me in was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. I went to his restaurant that night - you must! The food was superb! They even made me a little packed lunch for the next day. Phenomenal location, easily accessible by bus and short walk to the Watarase Onsen (which I thought was far more beautiful and special an experience than the more famous Yunomine Onsen, sitting outside in an open air onsen as stars fillled the sky!). Highly recommend, my only regret is I only stayed one night 🥰

You have a whole traditional Japanese house for yourself to enjoy - sitting around the irori (traditional Japanese sunken hearth) or catching a sun ray on the engawa (a wooden veranda), you can dream your Kurosawa fantasies on a rainy day ;-) Pleasant walks lead to 2 other onsen areas, Yunomine and Kawayu, bus stop to Hongu Taisha, Kumano Kodo etc.

Not a dislike, just to be aware of: as Okagesan says, Watarase onsen is a small place. If you plan to cook, it is better to bring food and drinks with you. He does provide an onigiri for a morning snack.
