Guesthouse Okagesan

整體非常的復古懷舊，但老闆準備的設備器具非常完善，廁所光擦拭用的東西就有三種。要煮東西、泡咖啡、洗衣服烘衣服都沒問題。也有提供茶、咖啡和小點心。冷氣也是沒有在客氣的冷。老闆英文非常的簡單明瞭，還開了一間串燒店，可以請老闆先留位置，蘿蔔、牛筋都很好吃，老闆還很貼心的隔天早上送了我們暖呼呼的飯糰。庭院有很多可愛的小鳥，當然也有準備了餵小鳥的食物。整體體驗非常棒。

The accommodation was amazing! We saw the photos of the place before, but its on person you can see how big and pretty the house is. It’s a very traditional accommodation, so it’s perfect for those looking for a traditional experience. The owner was very kind and cared about explaining all the details of the place. The house has a place where you can feed and watch birds in the morning, and at night, the illumination of the lanterns in the garden is very pretty as well. He also brought us some delicious homemade oniguiri in the morning. Really peaceful stay, highly recommend. For sure you will leave the house with a very good feeling of appreciation.

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Beautiful, quiet and comfortable Japanese house with a warm and welcoming owner. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been more time, so we could have stayed longer.

We walked the Kumano Kodo and if you are as well you know there are sections where you need to make a choice on where and what location to stage up for the end of one day and the beginning of the next. Our stay at Guesthouse Okagesan was fantastic, for sure a highlight of many highlights on our trip. The 140 year old traditional Japanese style guesthouse was really neat and peaceful, with a private onsen near by if you like. And, a 2 minute walk from the guesthouse is the owner's Yakitori restaurant, which is FANTASTIC! I'm pretty sure no one would know about this place unless you either lived in the area or while walking the Kumano. The owner is very kind and helpful as well.
