We loved the host's hospitality and warmth, and the view from the balcony was amazing! There is also AC available for a small fee which goes a long way in the heat.

The bed is not the comfiest but it makes do!

You have a whole rooftop to yourself !! It’s so pretty and you get a good view over the city and the night sky :) The owners were lovely, offered us tea in the afternoon and morning :)

All the necessary equipment for preparing food is included here. There is a gas cooker, rice cooker, kettle, cutting board, knife, spoon. You can see a beautiful sunrise in the morning and a beautiful sunset in the evening. At night, the city is beautiful. You can see Galle Fort, light house, railway station, and the sea.There is a very kind lady.

The room is very hot after 10 am. It is very hot because the concrete slab is heated. If you use air conditioning, you have to pay 3 usd.

"A unique experience"

Be prepared for a unique stay. You need to be fit to stay here; the property is up the top of the hill beside the station and the room is three flights of stairs up at the top of the building. The room is on its own on top of the roof with an amazing view over the whole city The family are so lovely and we wish we could have stayed longer

We loved it but it’s not suitable for those who would struggle with stairs

"Walking distance to Fort, Cricket Grounds and Shops"

Great location! Everything walking distance. Kind people who provided tea/coffee every morning. Basic kitchenette and owners offered for us to leave food in their fridge.

The room gets very hot as it is all the way up top of the building, but no mosquitos so we opened up the windows during the night.

"Great stay if you wanna stay in residential area and a bit more quiet with great people"

Exceptional friendly family. I could leave a small bag there one day earlier and could check in a bit earlier. My toom was more an appartement on the rooftop with great view. 15 minutes to the Fort. Supermarket not far!

The bed was a bit hard for my old bones.
